No More Empty Pots

Truck Farm has been supported by various organizations during our first year, but as of February 2013, we are honored to be a program of No More Empty Pots!

NMEP

No More Empty Pots is a grassroots non-profit corporation. It began for the purpose of connecting individuals and groups to promote local, sustainable, businesses that improve self-sufficiency and regional food security through advocacy and action.  To help support this effort, No More Empty Pots, collaborates with a coalition of public and private organizations, businesses, communities, individuals, and entrepreneurs.

Truck Farm Omaha is excited to be working with NMEP.  With similar visions and values about  regional food security and health, our partnership has been a natural fit. Together we are developing closed loop food systems, supporting sustainable urban agriculture systems and educating the community with nutrition education programs.

No More Empty Pots has reviewed the potential of TFO and supports the program as a long term positive impact for the communities in which we serve.
